To INSPIRE visitors with animals, leaving them feeling connected to the natural world.  To EMPOWER visitors, through education, to make changes in their lives which will make a positive impact on the planet.  To CONSERVE wildlife for future generations.  

Inspire

We want people leaving the Safe Haven Animal Discovery Experience to be inspired to make a difference in the natural world.  Part of this willingness to change will come from connecting with animals at our facility and feeling inspired to make a difference in their lives.

Empower

 After making a connection with the animals at the park, Safe Haven Animal Discovery Experience aims to provide take-home lessons for visitors who want to make a difference in the lives of animals a chance to do so.  They will leave with practical ideas of simple changes they can can make in their daily routines to be a positive change in the world and a champion of our environment.  

Conserve

In addition to being a zoological facility, Safe Haven Animal Discovery Experience is dedicated to assisting with in-situ and ex-situ conservation efforts. 

By acting on behalf of the animals in this three tiered approach, to inspire, to empower, and to conserve, Safe Haven Animal Discovery Experience will work to improve the quality of life for animals, reduce the destruction of their native environment, and promote an understanding of our responsibilities to the environment and its inhabitants among community members.
